Overview

OVPTL and Graduate Division are coordinating the UCI campus applications for the fifth annual class of the UC President’s Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings Fellows. These fellows can be undergraduate, graduate students or postdoctoral fellows and will be supported to attend the Lindau Physics Meetings being held from June 30 through July 5, 2024 in Lindau, Germany.

Begun seven decades ago, today the Lindau meetings bring together some 600 university students and post-doctoral fellows from around the world who spend a week absorbing lectures by Nobel Laureates and interacting with them in smaller groups to discuss their own research. The theme of the meetings – educate, inspire, and connect– has led us to see these meetings as places where our students not only learn but begin to build the research networks that will enrich their lives and help create the broadest sense of community.

2023-24 Topic:  73rd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (Physics)

Important Dates

Call for Applications:  August 22, 2023
