Next Gen Pathways: Mentee

Who Should Sign Up:

First-year graduate students who want to be matched with a mentor and join a program dedicated to supporting your transition into graduate school.

Time Commitment:

While there is no strict hourly requirement, we recommend meeting or checking in with your mentor at least once a month and participating in Next Gen Pathways events to fully benefit from the program.

What you’ll gain:

  • A Mentor with Similar Life Experiences: Custom matching surveys ensure that mentors and mentees are paired based on shared experiences and needs.
  • Networking and Social Events: Engage in opportunities to connect with peers and mentors through various events.
  • Workshops: Participate in workshops designed to support your academic and personal growth.
  • Access to Resources: Utilize institution-specific resources and discussion guides available on the participant dashboard via the Mentor Collective website.
