Battery on Empty?! Graduate Division's 5th Annual Winter Recharge has a number of special events scheduled throughout the month of February to help you reflect, reset, and recharge! 

Winter Recharge is intended for you to reconnect with yourself and each other. This series of programs allows you to focus on your personal and professional growth.

Attend one event or attend them all. For each event you attend, you will be entered into the Winter Recharge RAFFLE. Raffle winners will be drawn Tuesday, February 23 at 4:45PM at a live Zoom party.

In addition to the events, you can participate in the Collaborative Recipe Book and the Positive Affirmation Corner below. A submission to the Recipe Book will also earn you a raffle entry!

Recharging Your Professional Network - Wednesday, February 17 from 11:30AM-12:30PM

Releasing Expectations and Going with the Flow – Improv Games with Bri - Monday, February 22 from 1-2:30PM

Sometimes we all need an opportunity to shake off expectations and go with the flow. So take this opportunity to join Bri McWhorter for an hour and a half of fun and improv games! Improv is a great tool to gain confidence and, at the same time, not take yourself and life so seriously. We could all use this session to let go and recharge.

Show and Tell Your Pet (Therapy Dogs with a Twist) - Tuesday, February 23 from 12-1PM

In celebration of National Dog Biscuit Day, bring your pet to the Zoom and introduce them to your fellow graduate students and their pets! Bonus - learn quick and easy dog treat recipes! This event is open to all… even those who don’t have a pet!

Winter Recharge Raffle Zoom Party - Tuesday, February 23 at 4:45PM

Join us to celebrate being Recharged! A live prize wheel will be spun to announce the raffle winners. Winners do not need to be present to win, but it is always so much more fun to hear your name called. There will be multiple winners.

Remember, for each “Winter Recharge” event you attend and each recipe you submit will be a separate raffle entry.

Collaborative Recipe Book

Thanks to the pandemic we all spent way more time in the kitchen! We would like to create a collaborative cookbook to share with all grads and post-docs. Food is a great way to build community and learn about different cultures through their cuisine. Share with us your favorite recipes!!

Recipe ideas:
* Share a recipe you have been making for years
* Share one you tried for the first time in quarantine
* Share a recipe you haven't yet tried and think others would like to try too!

Submit your recipes here by Monday, March 1st at 10AM. 

Receive one raffle entry for every recipe you submit. The raffle will be drawn at the live event on Tuesday, February 23 at 4:45PM.

Stretch and Release Yoga & Meditation - Friday, February 5 from 12-1PM

Winter quarter got you tense? Learn yoga techniques that can help you de-stress and stay well. This session will combine yoga and meditation. Studies show meditation helps with concentration, sleep, productivity, and more! This session will include poses to help those who spend long hours at a desk and on Zoom. Perfect for all grads and post-docs.
