Spring is in the air and the end of the quarter is in sight! Throughout the month of May join your peers for special events as a part of our 5th Annual Spring Up event! 

May flowers may be blooming, but so are the deadlines, projects, proposals, and endless data to crunch. It is important to make sure wellness holds a spot on that to-do list. Let’s dust off those healthy habits and SPRING into a strong finish this academic year.  It is essential to your health and well-being, including your student success, to continue to build and find community during this continued unprecedented time.

In addition to the scheduled events you can also win gift cards by participating in our 2nd Annual #UCISpringUpChallenge Instagram Contest!
To enter in the #UCISpringUpChallenge, you must post a photo on your Instagram that relates to one of the Spring Up #hashtag themes and tag @ucirvinegd and @uciAGS in each post. Get creative! You can spin each post however you see fit. We hope you find inspiration and discover how to expand your network and be digitally connected with one another. Be sure to tag and reach out to your peers, lab mates and even faculty to join in the fun!

This session will also focus on poses that help those who spend long hours at a desk and on Zoom - perfect for all grads and post-docs!

Pop in any time to get a writing prompt and write a letter to your future self. Did you know there are many benefits to writing a letter to yourself? It increases your level of gratitude, you grow self awareness, helps to manifest your future, and it can be used to measure and achieve your goals. How cool is that?

Collaborative Recipe Book

Thanks to the pandemic we all spent way more time in the kitchen! We created a collaborative cookbook to share with all grads and post-docs. Food is a great way to build community and learn about different cultures through their cuisine. Share with us your favorite recipes!!

Recipe ideas:
* Share a recipe you have been making for years
* Share one you tried for the first time in quarantine
* Share a recipe you haven't yet tried and think others would like to try too!

Each recipe submission is a chance to win an e-gift card.
