We now have access to the Scopus database, a bibliography database which contains abstracts and citations for academic journals, some proceedings and a growing number of book chapters. It covers nearly 22,000 titles from over 5,000 publishers, of which 20k are peer-reviewed journals in the STEM fields of scientific, technical, medical and social sciences disciplines (including arts & humanities). Particularly useful in conducting systematic reviews and other information & data intensive research. There are metrics at the author, article and source level. Undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars are invited to learn about a range of internship and funding opportunities offered by the Division of Community and Education at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) that are applicable across all areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The office oversees more than $9.2 million in programming and funding sources, with initiatives ranging from food safety to climate change and research support for STEM fields.
